Time in Los Angeles: 9:15 PM
new girl from singapore just arrived yesterday. name's catherine, kinda sweet and all, don't know her that well yet. went down to pearson airport to pick her up with ron and mark, can't wait to get back to the airport again !! that'll be the SEVENTH OF JULY ! :D
anyhows, today was great ! one more day till the start of school though. ahhhh, DREAD. well, got up at ten, had brunch, then clara, mark and i brought catherine and her family to price chopper. spent some time, they got their basic necessities then back to school again. lydea came over, told me the bbq was brought forward to lunch, so off to lake ontario we went. dropped by no frills, then rabba, got some stuff, took photos, and finally started the fire.
headed back to bronte at 3.30 to pick clara up. arrived at school, watched clara and cliff play basketball while waiting for mark to return back to school. was supposed to bring katherine and family to mississauga chinatown, but they were busy, so we ended up ROLLERBLADING !! hahah
was really really fun ! ryan and jun were going to rollerblade and since they had extra blades, asked if i wanted to join them. got cliff, mark and clara along too and off on wheeels we went !! bladed round the school carpark, but kept screaming and stuff cos i couldn't break and STILL CAN'T break. hoho. had to grabhold of mark and ryan and bump into all the parked cars quite a few times. :P
gotta practise more, needa get the hang of breaking ! it's so not easy ! hehh.
had yummilicious dinner then decided to head to chinatown. waited FOREVER for bus 19 and 1C. roamed round small little chinatown and cliff had his chicken rice that wasn't so chicken rice at all. checked out the supermarket, bought fuji apples (MISS FUJI APPLES SO MUCH ! haha), hunted for egg tarts but to no avail then headed back to school !

review of my spring break !
first friday can't remember what i did.
saturday headed downtown with nikki, rachel, clara and tasha ! our girls day out ! hahah walked around, didn't spend much though but was the company that counted most ! had fun ! (:
sunday slept the whole day cos it was raining. woke up, had brunch, slept, got up for dinner, did the graduation deco for the grad the next day, to tim hortons, and finally back to sleep. hoho. PIG, i know. (:
monday breakfast, headed to the post office with clara to post my transcripts to western, york, ottawa and mcmaster. then to the bank and finally to the shop selling the playboy pouch. too bad they only had one left, so the both of us didn't buy in the end. rushed back to school after that for the grad ceremony. missed half an hour of it but still enjoyed people watching. had yummy lunch then to brunswick with everyone else for bowling ! bowled, won the first game, second for the second game and lonkang-ed my way through the third one. :P was fun though. took photos, crapped, then splitted up for dinner. went to a&w with clara, cliff, mark, kevin, jun, ayane, ryan and jenny. root beer float was HEAVEN man ! hahah headed to the reebok gym after that with clara. realised they want us to sign on for a year. too bad we've no clue where we'll be in a few months times, so decided not to. met sally and mervyn there, supposed to check out this other gym with sally but the place was nowhere to be found. so we ended up taking a spin downtown in sally's car. was awesome !! :D
tuesday downtowned with mervyn, cliff, mark, sally, clara and tasha. we hired a SUV over, so didn't have to go through all the squeezing and waiting and all that hassle of taking the public transport. shopped, spent a whole lot down town !! gosh. then decided to leave the two pairs of lovebirds alone, so headed to spadina (chinatown) with tasha and mark, bought four dvds for $20 ! hahah the benefits of being in CHINATOWN, pirated and pirated and pirated again. but they're all working well, so wheee ! oh, and i found my FAVOURITE DRINK there !!!! almost fainted on the spot when i saw it. hahaha, was in the dvd shop when mark came in holding a super familiar bottle with 'JUSTEA' written on it ! (MELANIE !!! I FOUND JUSTEA !!) hoho, went bonkers right away ! too bad they only had the peach flavour, didn't have the lemon one. slurpped my way to the bottom of the bottle ! Y-U-M-M-Y ! got back to school just in time for dinner then jogged outdoors, for the first time since i've been here, with tasha.
wednesday to dixie mall with tasha and mark, spent half the day at urban behaviour ! their sale's really really goood ! (: got two tops ! then met up with clara and cliff, walked round dixie, bought stuff and more stuff. had dinner and back to school !
thursday to canada post, rbc, dollar blitz with tasha, got stuff from price chopper, then to sherway with clara after dinner ! sherway's really nice ! (: new place to start exploring. anyhows, we missed the bus back to school so had to wait another 45minutes for the next one. ended up taking photos everywhere. haha was really stupid. :P
friday stoned in school the whole day until mark got up. headed to tim hortons. had dinner after that and off to the airport to pick catherine up ! was nice, the feeling of going to the airport. ahhh, can't wait for it to be my turn to enter that gate !!

yadah, that's bout it. ALL ABOUT MY SPRING BREAK. nadya just came in to borrow my HOT CHICKS dvd and grab a fruit rollup ! hoho. gna head down for a game of badminton now ! WORKOUT, here we come !!

today's weather was pffffttt .. SUCKY ! woke up cos of the wind wailing and banging on my windows. undid my blinds, looked out, it was raining so much, it started to snow. so couldn't go to the reebok-sponsored-gym anymore. was a total stay-indoors-only-day. so spoke to darling linwei, went down for brunch with tasha and headed back to our rooms. stoned, went online, read my
SLAVE TO FASHION(it's really nice ! BUY IT !) and fell asleep after one chapter ! hoho. slept through the whole day till dinner time. had dinner then went round giving out next semster's timetable to the nazarethians. packed up my room after that and headed down to do up the decorations for the winter semester graduation which will be held tmr !
had quite a fun time deccing up the place. one thing for sure, it was really HILARIOUS. erwin's sucha CLOWN. tasha and ibraz were speaking in their arabic/hindi language and erwin, as usual started repeating after them and etc. and erwin, being erwin with his stupid way of talking, made all of us laugh till our jaws and cheeks were aching. anyhows, felt like getting outta school halfway, so headed to tim hortons with tasha. the tim hortons people were really nice today ! cos erwin, marco, larry and ibraz all wanted ice cappucino but didn't wna provide us with any cash, so with tasha having only ten bucks and me having sixty cents, we couldn't afford the stuff they wanted. but the cashier, being all nice, gave us four cappucinos for the price of three. and the next cashier gave us 15 timbits for the price of 10 ! gee, love those people ! hahah
conclusion (courtesy of me and tasha): it's really cold today, so the demand for hot coffee and stuff increases. therefore, the price drops and hence the offers we got today ! hoho. econs econs econs ..
well, so we got the deco done up and here i am ! :D

yesterday was BONKERS DAY. was bored so decided to head to the post office to send my transcripts to the universities. was freezing (only a little better than today), so took the bus instead of walking. being the stupid us, we got down two stops before the one we're supposed to get down at. so we had to WALK in the end. arrived at the post office only to find that it's closed on the weekends. headed on to meet tasha's friends playing pool. decided our stomachs were growling so dined at pakwashi, some indian/pakistani restaurant. food was scrumptious !!
met up with arselan and najeeb again to head to erin mills, where chris-anne stayed. journey was terrible ! had to take three buses ! first one was half and hour, second, forty-five minutes and last was fifteen minutes. but we waited almost half and hour IN THE COLDDD and CHILLLYYY weather before the last bus arrived.
her house was really nice ! reminded me of my house back in the states. anyhows, ate, listened to their funny stories, played "WACKK !" (some game to test your threshold of pain), watched their graduation dvd and cabbed back to school. managed to reach just two minutes before curfew time ! -beams` hahah
alrighty ! tmr's the grad ! then heading to bowl ! shall tuck in early ! it's 1.58am by the way. oh, and daylight saving time starts today ! so instead of being thirteen hours behind singapore, i'm now only twelve hours behind. so it's the EXACT time, only difference's the pm/am ! yadah, lovee !
