Time in Los Angeles: 11:15 PM
so, i took a secret flight to LA on the 20th of August. dad wanted me to try my luck at getting a seat on the 20th instead of the 21st, which i was already confirmed on. Fortunately, to some extent, and VERY UNFORTUNATELY, i got the last seat as five passengers didn't turn up.
awesome thing was, i got escorted all the way from the check-in counter at Changi Airport to the Los Angeles International Airport, LAX. was really cool though ! i guess it's good i get a shot at this (underaged traveller) service before the next time i get back as a full and legal (coughcough) adult. urggg .. !
so i was led right to the gate, cut the whole long line of queue (YES the security is HORRENDOUSLY TIGHT !) at the baggage check and all the way to the plane, given instructions to sit and not move after the plane had landed, got handed over from one staff to the next to the airstewardess (who kept asking if i was doing okay "miss yeo, hope everything is fine with you, do you need help filling in the declaration form and I-94 ?" hahaha, thanks, it's the 4th time i'm filling it in myself now). best part was when they shifted me to business class halfway through, hahaha cheap thrill, i like !
only downside was me not being able to ask for Singapore Sling, because there was no way they'd count me off as 18 ! hurrr.
on the other hand, usual stuff, movies movies and more movies ! caught the gymnastics movie on the plane (stick sth ?) and a korean movie --> love seduction (or sth like that). both were absolutely wonderful ! slept and ate for most of the remaining time.

well, USC is HUMONGOUS. went touring round the campus and getting lost today. awesome adventure i had.
first classes start tomorrow ! going to head for bed early ! 8am and a little earlier to beat the traffic !
my SMCpals ! i'll see you guys in a couple of DAYS !!! don't be sad ! it sucks to have to leave, i know !
